Product Description
Solar Photovoltaic Power Generation System
An SPV system is a mechanism to generate electricity using Suns energy. Through this system, Sunlight is directly converted into Electrical Energy. It is so convenient and easy to set up and maintain; you can set up an Solar Photovoltaic Power Generation System on your rooftop. For reference, to set up a 1 KW SPV system, just 100 sq. ft. of rooftop space is required.
Mainly, there are two types of SPV systems:
- Off-grid SPV system
- On-grid SPV system
In an off-grid system, a battery bank is used to store electricity generated through solar panels. From the battery, current is fed into AC mains. The electricity thus stored in the battery bank, can be used anytime as and when required.
Features:
- Solar Panels
- Solar Power Conditioning Unit (PCU)
- Battery Bank
- Associated wiring and connections
Commercial Benefits:
- Fixed cost of power for at least 25 years, after one time installation
- Inflation-proof your electricity costs for 25 years
- Return on Investment as early as 3 years
- Real time rupee savings on electricity costs (refer savings illustration)
- MNRE subsidy @30% of the cost of system
- Accelerated Depreciation benefit up to 80% in first year With Net metering, excess power generated can be directly sold to the grid
- Preferential Rate of Interest on bank loan for SPV systems
